"Do you think he knows?" Astrid asked. She tried scratching Tupan's forehead, but he tossed his head. She decided it wasn't personal though when he stuck his head out past her shoulder to call to a passing filly.

"Do I think he cares what the humans named the race? No," replied Jimmy as Bert gave him a leg up. "So, no, I don't think his head is going to get any bigger over that. But is he a young guy who thinks he's all that? Yes."

The horse and rider headed out towards the track, before they left their small entourage behind, Jimmy added, "But don't worry, he'll fight with all he's got before he lets anyone prove him wrong."
